At last I have finished the Kaffe Fassett quilt. The one with the Y seams I was ranting on about early in my blogs. I call it 'Kaffe's puzzle' because I changed the proportions from the original design to make it more usable as a bed quilt. This resulted in some challenging piecing at the corners. I showed it off at the Quilt Guild last week and heard an audible gasp from the audience as it was held up - I am not sure if it was shock or admiration - very gratifying either way. I am hoping to enter it in the Bonneville County show next week, if I can arrange for someone to collect it for me when the show finishes - we will be in California then - more of that anon.
