Snow

We had about 4" of snow overnight. So far this has been the mildest winter on record here in Idaho Falls. I don't think 4'" is that unusual most winters but we were pretty impressed. I didn't know if the school buses would be running so I rang round a couple of people. Idahoans are much too polite to laugh but I think they thought we were pretty feeble. We trudged out into the snow and sure enough along came the big yellow bus. I bravely took out the Ford Focus later on - the only real danger was those big pick-up trucks sliding all over the road. Once they start to slip, they've gone! It looks pretty though and it is probably going to stay - it is definitely getting colder - Brrr.

We've had a fair amount of snow and Blue Coat school closed for the day. Unfortunately the snow started to thaw by lunchtime! It kept trying to snow again though on Friday but didn't settle. Castle school also closed and Liz came over to collect some of her stuff we had found in our loft. Snow was still visable on the top of the hills on Saturday.

We've found a novel way of keeping Fluffy's bottle warmer so it doesn't freeze up-put some socks on it!
