Golfing again

After a gap of 14 years I have played a whole round - 9 holes- of golf. Golfing is really reasonable here in Idaho Falls and several nice courses to choose from. I have been able to indulge in a course of 4 one-to-one lessons and this was my first whole round. I decided that it was now or never; if I couldn't do it here when I had plenty of time, I never would.

I played with a quilting friend and her old friend, who were both very kind and patient with me. The biggest problem for me was that it was very busy - even at 8am - and I had to tee off from the first tee with a pretty large audience. Thankfully I managed a very respectable drive straight down the fairway even if not very long. Hopefully I can improve on that - roll on the next time.
